What this site collects, and what it doesn't.

Northlink Strategy is a one-person practice. Your information is read by me and used to reply to you — nothing else.

Last updated 30 August 2026

§ 01

Only what the inquiry forms ask for, plus standard server logs.

What is collected

The only personal information this site gathers is what you type into an inquiry form and choose to send:

  • Your name — so I know who I'm replying to
  • Your email address — the only way I can reply
  • Your organization or company, and website if you provide one
  • Timing or stage, so I can tell whether I have capacity
  • Your description of the problem — the substance of the inquiry

The web host also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and browser types. These are generated automatically by any web server and are used for security and availability, not to build a profile of you.

What is not collected

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and contains no advertising or tracking pixels. Fonts are served from this domain rather than a third party, so loading a page makes no request to any outside company. There is nothing here that follows you to other websites.

If analytics are ever added, this page will be updated before that happens.

§ 02

Used to answer you. Not sold, not shared, not added to a list.

How it is used and stored

I use what you send to assess the inquiry, reply to you, and — if we go ahead — scope the work. That is the whole purpose.

Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own purposes, and you will not be added to a mailing list. There is no mailing list.

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, which hosts this site, and reach me by email. Both are subject to their providers' own security practices, and data may be stored on servers outside Canada.

How long it is kept

Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to actual engagements are kept as long as needed for the work and for normal business and tax purposes.

Confidentiality of client information

Information shared during an engagement is treated as confidential. Work is only published as a case study with written approval, and organizations may remain anonymous. This applies to both practices.

§ 03

Ask and it is done — no form, no process.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you may ask to see the personal information I hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email me and I will confirm within a reasonable period — in practice, a few days.

There is no form to fill in for this. A plain email is enough.
